She chose family medicine because she enjoys getting to know her patients and what is important to them over the course of their lives. This, along with a strong desire to understand the "whole person", both biological and psychological, is what drew her to her new career. She loves nothing more than getting to know her patients one-on-one and finding ways to empower them to flourish. David received his medical degree from OHSU and is thrilled to continue being a resident here in the Pacific Northwest. Outside of medicine he enjoys hiking, backpacking, fishing, and exploring all of the amazing restaurants in Portland.
